Tali Gil spent two weeks in Dusseldorf as part of the artists exchange program between Ein Hod and that city. During that time in the Kunstpunte she exhibited both works that she had brought with her from Ein Hod and those that she had created during her stay in the visiting artist’s studio in Dusseldorf. She also exhibited in the Anomato Art Center.
During the exhibition Tali was asked to lecture on the subject that she is researching for her doctorate – art in prison, with emphasis on the many-leveled contribution that art can give to the lives of prisoners. In the course of the lecture she presented examples of projects under direction that were carried out in prison and pointed out the connection between her work with prisoners and the work presented in the exhibit.
